Situated a stone’s throw from Toronto, Mississauga is a vibrant mosaic of people from all walks of life. For over 15 years, more than 400 Bohra families have contributed to Mississauga’s bustling growth and with new families arriving each year, the Mississauga community continues to grow from strength to strength.
Mississauga is home to one of the largest masjids in North America. Situated in the northern part of the City, the masjid in Mississauga is vital to the spiritual and material uplift of its congregants. The masjid was constructed in 2015 and uses materials from various parts of the world, including the renowned rose-orange stone sourced from Jordan for the facade of the structure.

The Mississauga congregation hosted MPP Nina Tangri for the annual flag hoisting ceremony on Canada Day (July 1, 2020). The programme included a video introduction of the Dawoodi Bohras in Canada, multiple speeches and talks, and a tour of the Mississauga masjid.
